Bair Island

Introduction

On October 4th, 2025, I hiked around Bair Island, a Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge unit located in Redwood City, California. It is a wetland area that provides habitat for a variety of wildlife. I could not get very close to them, but I was still able to photograph a few birds and animals, including Brown Pelican, Song Sparrow, Double-Crested Cormorant, Great Blue Heron, Snowy Egret, Ring-Billed Gull, Black Phoebe, Northern Harrier, Spotted Sandpiper, Willet, and Seal.
