Introduction

On November 22nd, 2025, I hiked on Lower Guadalupe River Trail North after I visited Ulistac Natural Area located at Santa Clara, California. On my trip, I encountered a surprisingly large number of wildlife including Turkey Vulture, California Scrub-Jay, American Goldfinch, Lesser Goldfinch, White-Crowned Sparrow, Snowy Egret, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Mallard, Gadwall, Double-Crested Cormorant, Cinnamon Teal, Bald Eagle, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Common Goldeneye, Black Phoebe, House Finch, American Kestrel, Red-Tailed Hawk, and more. Notably, this is the first time I photographed a wild Bald Eagle close up enough in the Bay Area.
