Marilyn Murphy Kane Trail

Introduction

On August 23rd, 2025, I went to Pleasanton and explored Marilyn Murphy Kane Trail. There are lots of birds along the trail. I was able to capture some great photographs of them, even if the camera lens I used was not one of the greatest. The key bird species I photographed included Turkey Vultures, Great Egret, House Finch, Western Bluebird, California Towhee, Acorn Woodpecker, Common Starling, and Bushtit.

It should also be noted that there is a tree at this location where many Turkey Vultures were perched. It is a great place to take close photographs of Turkey Vultures.

Camera System Setup
