Marsh Creek Regional Trail
Introduction
On February 22nd, 2026, I hiked the Marsh Creek Regional Trail in Brentwood, California. It turns out that this trail is a full of various kinds of birds, from large raptors to small songbirds. I was able to capture some of the birds with my camera, including Red-Shouldered Hawk, Lesser Goldfinch, Anna’s hummingbird, California Scrub-Jay, Black Phoebe, Great Egret, Purple Finch, Hermit Thrush, Cedar Waxwing. In addition, there are happy people, kids, and dogs playing in the park. I also encountered two cats, which are actually neighbors, fighting and chasing each other.
Marsh Creek Regional Trail is a great place for bird and wildlife photography. Next time, I will bring my best telephoto lens so that more details of birds and wildlife can be captured.
