Merced National Wildlife Refuge

Introduction

On June 21st, 2025, on my way back from Fresno to the Bay Area, I stopped by the Merced National Wildlife Refuge for an auto tour to photograph wildlife. The key species identified during the tour were Coyote, Desert Cottontail, House Sparrow, Brown-Headed Cowbird, American Goldfinch, Mourning Dove, Turkey Vulture, Black Phoebe, and Northern Mockingbird.
