Raptor Encounter In Coyote Valley

Introduction

On June 22nd, 2025, I attended the Raptor Encounter In Coyote Valley event organized by the Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) at Laguna Seca, Coyote Valley. The event featured a variety of raptor presentations and educations, including Peregrine Falcon, American Kestrel, Golden Eagle, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Burrowing Owl, Harris’s Hawk. Some wild Turkey Vultures were also attracted to the event.
