2026 San Francisco Fleet Week Ship Parade

Introduction

On October 9th, 2026, I attended the San Francisco Fleet Week Ship Parade at Bob’s Lookout for warship and air show photography. The major warships visiting San Francisco included the USS Ashland (LSD 48) and the USS Cape St. George (CG 71). The weather was not ideal. The air show following the ship parade was affected by the cloudy and windy conditions. The key US Navy Blue Angels performance was delayed to 4 PM and we could only capture very limited aerial action shots.
