Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline

Introduction

On May 23rd, 2026, I visited Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline at Martinez, California for hiking and photography. There are a lot of Barn Swallows flying around but it was extremely difficult to capture them in flight. I have also encountered a few other birds, such as Northern House Wren, Western Bluebird, Wild Turkey, Western Meadowlark, and Turkey Vulture.
