Vargas Plateau Regional Park

Introduction

On June 13th, 2026, I visited Vargas Plateau Regional Park at Fremont, California for hiking and photography. The last time I visited this place was more than three years ago and I was lucky to see a coyote. This time, however, I did not see too many things interesting, except a Large Thread-Waisted Digger Wasp for the first time digging holes on the ground. Because the temperature was high and the air quality was just so-so, the image quality of the photos were affected.
